New for 2023, the Bauer Vapor X5 Pro Senior Hockey Stick is only 390 grams, which makes it 25 grams lighter than the previous Vapor 3X Pro model. Bauer was able to reduce the weight of this stick by using Spread Tow Carbon fiber throughout the shaft and blade. These layers are more strategically stacked making the stick lighter without sacrificing any durability. The XE Taper, which is also found in the Hyperlite2 model offers a unique elliptical geometry, that provides more stability in the blade and a reduced overall weight.
