New for 2023, the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite 2 Senior Goalie Blocker features a Rebound Boost core and CURV composite material for high velocity rebounds. A molded anatomical backhand offers better balance and a lower hand placement allows for better net coverage. The molded F1 CURV Composite construction offers enhanced protection. Around on the fingers, they are reinforced with Bauer’s Defense Cloud Tech (DCT) material and Shocklite Shield for even better protection from sticks and pucks. The DCT material replaces what had traditionally been Poron in previous models with a lighter, more comfortable material that retains less water. The palm of the Hyperlite 2 will feature a 14.5” Connekt+ palm with piano finger adjustability for an enhanced custom fit combined with a DuraConnekt liner for increased durability and comfort. Finally at the wrist, a low profile molded cuff allows for an enhanced range of motion.
